Strawberries & Cream Smoothie Pops

Strawberries and Cream Smoothie Pops

These smoothie pops are so quick and easy to make using just a couple of ingredients that you most likely already have at home. Give them a go!

Now that Summer has arrived (or at least I hope!) we have been having these delicious smoothie pops pretty frequently. They are tasty and refreshing and make the perfect afternoon treat. They are made with just two ingredients; strawberries and yogurt!

I am a member of the Tesco Orchard review programme and occasionally get sent vouchers to test out some of their products – this time Cherries & Berries. I used the voucher towards these Strawberries. We gave them a try before we got started and can confirm that they are wonderfully juicy! I love when British strawberries come into season!

We washed and hulled all of the strawberries and added them into a plastic jug.

We added 6 heaped tablespoons of Greek yogurt and a splash of water.

We whizzed the fruit and yogurt up together until it was all blended like a smoothie. You could leave it a little chunkier if you wanted to which would add some interesting texture.

We poured the smoothie into some ice lolly moulds and set in the freezer to freeze. We left them for about 8 hours until they were completely solid. There was a little strawberry smoothie left over which Sophia devoured!

These pops went down a treat with the whole family. Harrison (6 months) especially loved the coolness on his sore, teething gums. The juicy, sweet strawberries complimented the creamy yogurt perfectly. We will definitely be making up a new batch!
